It seems that the Universe has a lot of art in mind for me. I have been made the artist for the Beltainia Festival this year. I've recently made a friend who has some space for me to do my art in & possibly team up with her on projects. People House has started an artists support group. Doing t-shirt and cover design for the band Heartbeat. Body painting events I am running. Best of all is doing art for myself for the first time in years.
I used to buy a new journal every semester, write in it, intermittently. I found an old one that I barely used, tossed away dreams, and I have been drawing in it. Did the first drawing for myself, and no one else in like 3 years. For the first time in years I am actually using it! I really like the feel of putting down something tangible.

So much in going on and is coming out of me. Ideas for poetry, books, art, projects, and whatever else the Muse has plans for me, with me. I love art. I don't like being isolated though. Its one of the reasons that I fell in love with chalk art. Body painting is the same. A person is the canvas, the photographers, the hair stylists, the hustle & bustle of a show....
To be in the middle of a crowd where art affects people, is a huge part of what makes me happy. That I help raise a little money to boot is just the cherry on top. To the people who are helped, it is a godsend. Both are right.
I don't know where the Muse is going to take me. How does it get better than this? I don't know, but I am going to have fun finding out.
