First Blogging Flogging Mythical Adventuring Post! 2011

Well we all gotta start somewhere and here be good as anywhere I suppose. Once upon a time I used to write in Livejournal. Then the whole dang world decided to up and move to Myspace, then Facebook. But really neither one of those places is any good about keeping or making it easy to find What I've written. SO here I am, and here you are. Two peas in a pod.

I have another site for my poetry.
Conversations with Shehe

So here we are at the beginning. First of the new year, 2011. First day after my 2 weeks of rest from my undergrad degree in Psychology, with minors in Art and Theater. Six years, and lost of obstacles overcome. I made it damn it! Whoo hoo!!!

There's a few things you should know about me first.

  1. I don't hold back my punches. - Not literal ones of course, but I believe that the world will be made a better place with being open. Blatantly so. It is in that spirit that #2 is coming.
  2. I'm bisexual, polyamourous, & pagan- of course I'm a helluva lot more than that but if you can get past this one(s), then we can have an actual conversation. If these 3 little things upset you, I think its best if we just part ways right now.
  3. NDE's- I have had several Near Death Experiences. (NDE's) As a result the way that I experience life is very different. Time for example, is NOT linear to me. We each have our ways of perceiving the world... mine is no less than another. You can discover other of my little idiosyncrasies along the way.
  4. No, I repeat, NO self-deprecating statements about yourself around or near me!
  5. Be Positive, Positive, Positive- If what you have to say isn't about helping make this world a better place, I'll have none of it. If you have a criticism, its constructive, not personal, and is followed by a helpful suggestion, then that's ok. Otherwise... "The wise remain silent & a fool opens his mouth & removes all doubt." ~ Chinese Proverb.
  6. We are all Children of the Divine- I respect your right to believe whatever you want so far as the Divine is concerned. Some may call it God, Goddess, Allah, collective consciousness, humanity, science, whatever you want. Every human being is a miracle. Even if you are an atheist. You can't deny that our being alive is miraculous!
  7. Unconditional Love - This is the essence of who I am. It is my religion. It is the Divine. I am love's arms & legs. I am love's lips and voice. I will do anything for love's sake.
  8. Be FOR something- My favorite story is about Mother Teresa. She told people, when invited to an anti-war rally... "When you have a peace rally let me know. I will be there." I understand that there are things in this world that make us angry. There are times we need to vent. But when it is time to bring others together, love is always the greater, long term, force.
  9. Making Love & Being Naked are GOOD- American's come from Puritanical roots. As a result we have learned some really awful things about what is meant to be natural and good. Human bodies are divine creations. This isn't to say that you should go off half cocked, willy-nilly... but lovingly & responsibly. Sensible yes? Also, another quote from my button collection: Sex between two people is a beautiful thing. Provided you're between the right two people.
  10. Just because something can't be seen, doesn't mean it's not real- Ghosts, spirits, fairies, angels, demons, alternate realities, parallel dimensions, 11 dimensions, bi-locality, dreams, visions, etc. Are not hallucinations. Don't dismiss your imagination either. It comes from someplace. "Imagination is more important than knowledge." ~Albert Einstein
  11. Humanity- Gaians- Earthlings- We are all one. When you are out in space, looking down on this like blue spec in the vasty ocean of space, it is CLEAR. We are all ONE. Earthlings. Humans. Not a bunch of separate, different people, ONE people...
Well I think this gives you a pretty good start on me... would love to learn more about you, but you have to interact for that to happen my beloveds!

Namaste'
